The Point only comes in one size, which will generally fit riders between 5’ to 6’4”. For riders on either end of the spectrum adjusting stem length or handlebar width and rise can help with preferred fit. The complete Point is built with a 33mm stem and 785mm handlebars.
The Point was designed for either a 100mm or 120mm fork. The maximum travel length that can be used on the Point is 130mm travel.
The Point uses a threaded 73mm shell that is compatible with just about every possible MTB crank in the market. The Point chainline is 50mm and the minimum Q factor is 172mm.
The Point frame uses a 27.2mm seatpost.
The Point frame uses a 29.8mm seatpost clamp, which is provided with the frame.
For the Pivot Point, we use an integrated style headset. The upper bearing measures 1-1/8" with 45°/45° ACB. The lower bearing measures 1-1/2" with 36°/45° ACB. The standard SHIS name is: TOP IS42 (45°), BOTTOM IS52/40.
The Point can run most 26” wheels with a 10x135mm bolt on style rear axle and 20x110mm through axle front hub.
The Point is designed to easily accept most 2.3 tires in the market. For wider tires, there are lots of options that will fit. However, we suggest you check the fit with your chosen rim and tire combination to make sure it has proper clearance. We have found that rim width, tire manufacture sizing call outs and/or tire size inconsistency can result in huge difference among both tire brands and individual tires.
If you are determined, a 27.2mm dropper post will fit on this frame although the Point does not come with dropper specific seat post routing.
Yes. The frame is equipped with ISCG-05 tabs, so most chain guides that are made for ISCG-05 tabs should work.
